This photo is looking east with the Jewers house in the left foreground. The features that date this photos are the lack of electric power lines and the basic structure of the house.
The changes are an addition to the house of another house; one with a "flat"roof. There are more outbuildings in the yard. There are fewer barns and houses in the community. The electrification has begun with poles in place but no wires yet
Here you can see that the back porch was rebuilt; it's smaller nad has a different roof constuction. There's a new barn, a new well house, a new cow and all surrounded by a very fancy picket fence. The electrification is complete.
This is the view south from the top of the cemetery. What I notice in these photos is the change in the number of doors and windows from then until now. Presently, there are no windows on the east side of the house, however, in this above photo, there are two. On the front right, both first and second floor windows are gone now.
