To commemorate the millenium a park was built. This is the bandstand where free evening concerts are performed all through out the summer. It was designed by architect, Frank Gehry, who has incredible buildings around the world.

There are other public installations at the "Millenium Park". I don't know the name of this work, but it really attracts people. It has a cavernous passageway with a funnelled ceiling.

The other installation is the "Water Towers". There are two towers, 100 feet apart, facing each other. The faces change expression eventually puckering up and pouring water out of their mouths. Water also pours out from the top, cascading down the sides, sometimes gently, other times as a waterfall.

The Hancock Building, the one with the antennae, is the fourth tallest in the world. They have a great view from their 94th floor observation deck. The foreground building is the city's oldest firestation.
